Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was born to Gayle
(Gaston) she was director of national operations at Mary Kay and Freddie
Wright. She was born and raised in San Diego. She started her professional
career at the age of 14 as a model. She has worked both in Paris, Japan and
Paris. After graduating high school, she was a professional actress. She was
offered a part on the soap opera Santa Barbara (1984), for which she was
nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy. She discovered her love for Dane
Witherspoon during the first season. They got married in the year 1986. She
starred in the show as the princess bride (1987) in the role of the title. She
was chosen to play Santa Barbara but left to be a part of Denial (1990) with
Jason Patric. She was in State of Grace (1990) at the time she became
acquainted with Sean Penn. They had a daughter Dylan Frances and a son Hopper
Jack. After a break, Robin was back to Hollywood and landed one of her most
memorable roles of her career. She was Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was a
stunning actor and an amazing performer. Then, she appeared in Toys (1992)
together alongside Robin Williams. She gave an entertaining performance. Wright
was in the blockbuster sensation Forrest Gump (1994) with Tom Hanks. She
received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her
performance in the film as Jenny. She got a small role in The Crossing Guard
(1995) with Jack Nicholson. After a string of rejections, she was offered the
title part in MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996). The movie was directed by Pen
Densham and featured Morgan Freeman, Stockard Channing, and Morgan Freeman.
Later, she appeared in Erin Dignam's Loved (1997) co-starring William Hurt.
