Rose McGowan

"Rose", born on September 5, 1973 is an American actress. McGowan
made her debut film debut in 1992 in Encino Man (1992), and was nominated for
an Independent Spirit Award nomination in 1995 for her performance as the dark
comedy The Doom Generation (1995). Her breakthrough role came in the film
horror Scream in 1996. Her next film was the films Jawbreaker (1999) and Devil
in the Flesh (2000). During the 2000s, McGowan became known to the public via
her role as Paige Matthews in The WB supernatural drama series Charmed
(2001-2006). McGowan was also a star in Quentin Tarantino and Robert
Rodriguez's double-feature film Grindhouse (2007) and for which she was
nominated both for the Saturn Award as Best Actress and for the Scream Award as
Best Scream Queen. The album she released her debut album on, Planet 9, was
released in the year of 2018. The album was followed by a new version of Planet
9 in 2020. In 2017, Time honored McGowan as one of the Silence Breakers, the magazine's
Person of the Year for speaking out against sexual assault and harassment
particularly in relation to the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases and the Me
Too movement. In 2018, she released Brave an autobiography, and also appeared
in Citizen Rose, a four-part documentary series.
