Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. Nichols is French Canadian and English descent. She attended and graduated from Cony High School in Augusta when she competed in the high jump. Columbia University in New York City was where she received a double degree in economics and math. After a brief stint in modeling her career, she forged a lucrative career as a model for high-profile brands such as Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, and L'Oreal. Rachel moved into acting and was offered a part on the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) when she made her first audition.
