Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Vincie, born December 10, 1987 was an American journalist and sports broadcaster. She is employed by the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and is a presenter on their daily news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie began her interest in stock car racing after she was granted the pit lane pass. After finishing her studies at Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. She gained attention after her own video blogs on NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born on the 10th of December the year 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was born in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved to Warrenton to start her high school. She is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator in the fifth grade while her grandfather was on faculty at Bridgewater College. She was interested in journalism from a young age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. She was a track and field events, as well as worked as a coach for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800m event at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had the pleasure of meeting Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and shared with Vincie lots of advice. Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communication. Vincie was an intern for the athletics department of the university. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. She wrote her senior dissertation on gender inequality in auto racing which focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She became interested in the sport after she secured a pit lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
