Alona Tal

Alona Tal is an Israeli-American performer and actress. Her birthplace was in Herzliya on October 20, 1983. Her career began when she was a member of the Israeli Defense Forces. Her biggest break was in 2003 when she starred in an Israeli film. She also appeared in two Israeli television shows at that time. She tried her hand at singing and recorded a few songs with Subliminal the Israeli rapper. Tal moved in with her sister to New York in order to have a break from her work. There, she collaborated with Haitian artist Wyclef Jean for the hit song "Party to Damascus". She also made a name for herself in American television, starting with a regular role on the show Veronica Mars: She originally auditioned for the lead role, but the creator Rob Thomas wrote a new character specifically for her. Later, Tal was offered a regular part in the CBS series. Participated in two TV programs in Israel before making the move to New York. Wyclef Jean wrote a song. Hebrew is her mother tongue. Second place for the role of Veronica Mars (2004). The auditions were initially unsuccessful, and she was Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas loved her so much that he designed the recurring character of Meg Manning just for her. She was part of the Israel Defense Forces. Both her parents are Jews--her father is Turkish/Jewish and mother is Polish/Jewish. Plays the daughter of Adrian Monk's wife who was murdered in the finale in the final season of Monk (2002).Has an infant daughter, Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017) along with her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.
