Rosario Isabel Dawson Bio


Rosario Isabel Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American actress and producer. Her first feature film came out in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Her roles in subsequent films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson is also a voiceover for Warner Bros./DC Comics and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. For her role as Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award in Best actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979, in New York City. Isabel Celeste is her mother and is of Afro-Cuban heritage. Rosario was 16 years old at Rosario's birth. Isabel never married Patrick C. Harris the her biological father. When Rosario was a year old, her mom got married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also famous for her various roles in comic book adaptations. In the year 2020, she played Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is set to star in the upcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also be appearing in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy series written by Dwayne John , which will premiere in 2021.
